Engaged!

By now most, if not all, of you have heard the great news that Josh Pawluk proposed and I accepted!  We are planning a December 18th wedding to be held in Fort Frances with reception following in Emo.  Right now we are full of wedding planning thoughts including invitations, guest lists, food, caterers, decorations, flowers, colours and more.  (If you have any great ideas feel free to share them, whether or not we’ll use them!)

For more of our story and extra pictures check out our wedding website.

Your prayers through the process are much appreciated!

At the same time Josh has just started back to teaching (today is first day for students) and I’m jumping back into school year ministry stuff (GIFT, ISCF and FYG are all restarting this week).  I’m excited to get back into a bit of a routine since this summer included a lot of moving around to and from camp, family reunion, and a friends’ cabin.

I’ve especially been missing my regular quiet times on my non-Emo Feed days.  I was really happy to have that back this morning.  I wasn’t really aware how much inconsistent devotions have been taking a toll.  I’ll hopefully also be updating this blog more regularly with prayer requests and things that are happening in ministry.

Side note: I’ve noticed that when using Google Chrome the side bar of this blog does not show up.  This includes Praise and Prayer Requests as well as the photo albums.  If you are having that problem check if using a different browser helps.  Let me know if it works!
